Whirlpool® System creates the same water action found in professional

The
secret is jet power and placement. Unlike most conventional tubs, Pearl
Baths use fewer, but higher performing jets, strategically placed in the
tub to create True Whirlpool® action. Each patented Pearl jet is
engineered to move 30 gallons of water a minute. With that kind of
power, it takes just two or three jets—properly placed—to create a
relaxing, swirling flow of water.
Pearl jets create a Venturi effect to obtain the right mix of air and
water and thereby enhance the massaging effect—without irritation. And
not only are Pearl jets engineered for strategic placement, they're also
balanced so performance matches tub size, water capacity and pump
capacity. You'll feel more relaxed and use your bath more often. |

The Back Massage System features six rotating jets
independently controlled via a diverter valve and the exclusive PearlTouchTM
3-Speed High Output Pump and Control.
The PearlTouchTM 3-Speed
Control lets you decide on the intensity of whirlpool action. Its high
volume 1 1/2 HP motor pump further enhances the Pearl bathing experience.
Each Pearl Essence bath features an in-line heater that
automatically maintains a comfortable water temperature.
The solid cast brass handrail is an appreciated styling
detail that provides an added measure of safety.
Pearl's patented Safety Suction system gives you a sense
of security. If blockage occurs, the whirlpool shut down immediately
allowing you to remove the obstruction.
Strikingly designed for maximum visual appeal and performance,
the integral fill spout and hot and cold valves eliminate the need
for an add-on faucet (except on Wisteria).
The hand-held shower, standard on two models, is artfully
concealed under a molded shower compartment cover.
Made of cast acrylic, your Pearl Essence whirlpool bath is
invitingly smooth, luxuriously warm to the touch, exceedingly strong, and
completely nonporous. The Pearl Essence Collection is available in 37
colors that don't fade and give you total ease of cleaning.

About Pearl
Pearl
Baths, Inc., located in Minneapolis MN, was founded by Pearl Higginbotham
in 1978. Ms. Higginbotham started her career in the plumbing business in
1961, selling portable whirlpool systems to consumers in the Twin Cities
area. It is from this experience that the vision of Pearl Baths was
formed. Her idea was to take the kind of hydrotherapy found at medical
centers and sports facilities, and make it available for home use.
The patented Pearl Bath True Whirlpool® System was the exciting and
unique result. At the age of 55, with limited experience and few role
models, Pearl invested her life savings in a dream called Pearl Baths. Her
vision: To make the finest whirlpool bath in the business.
Today, Pearl Baths has become one of the largest and most successful
whirlpool bath companies in North America.
In March of 1994, Pearl Baths was purchased by MAAX Inc., a leading
plumbing fixture manufacturer in North America. That purchase marked the
most significant acquisition to date by MAAX Inc. and further strengthened
both Pearl's and Maax's position in the market.
Pearl Higginbotham retired in 1994 and continues to make her home in
the Minneapolis area. Pearl Baths, as a wholly owned subsidiary of MAAX
Inc., operates autonomously from MAAX, but with the full support of its
growing corporate parent. The synergy between the two companies is
obvious. Both share a passion for excellence while always focusing on
customer needs.
Pearl Baths' key to success is found in the core values of the
company—absolute dedication to performance and an unwavering commitment
to putting the customer first. This is evident in the design and
reliability of the product, and in Pearl's extensive warranty to the
homeowner.
Another key to success is Pearl's firm belief that people are the
foundation of any organization. Employees, customers, suppliers, the
community, shareholders and others are the lifeblood of the company. Pearl
respects individuals and families, supports continuous education, and
promotes a company culture that allows people to make a positive
difference in their own and other people's lives. Pearl currently employs
120 people and has about 25 independent manufacturing agencies
promoting its products throughout the U.S. |

Designer baths and Pearl showers have a 10-year surface warranty.
Contractor models have a 5-year surface warranty. The warranty on
the pumps of all Pearl Whirlpools is 5 years. The electrical,
plumbing and shower faucets warranty is 2 years |
